How I work
I work from a strengths-based and trauma-informed perspective that integrates techniques from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative, Family Systems, Attachment, and Somatic Therapies. I believe all clients deserve treatment that is customized to meet their specific needs at any space and time. I also believe all care should be neurodiversity-affirming and accessible. My style is calm, caring, and compassionately direct.
I also believe strongly that care is rooted in community. Healing is not only an individual process, and as such, part of my work is devoted to working with clients to provide resources, access to community, and referrals to additional services and clinicians who can provide specialized care. I am grateful to be a part of all of my clients’ extended care community.
What I offer
Therapy:
I currently offer telehealth sessions for couples (including polycules), individuals, families, and friends in New York State. I offer weekly and bi-weekly sessions (50 min long).
Rates start at $125 for individuals, $150 for couples, and $175 for families of 3 or more.
I do not take insurance, but can offer superbills for out-of-network reimbursements and monthly invoices if needed.
I also offer therapist support letters for gender affirming care surgeries. Please reach out directly for more on this process.
I also have sliding scale spots available. Rates are determined by the financial situation of the patient, time of appointment, and availability. More on that below:
Coaching:
I also offer coaching services for those in creative businesses around topics like navigating business partnerships, creating effective contracts for working with friends, and how to set goals and find a work/life balance that works for you. Please contact me directly for coaching session rates.
Why telehealth?
I believe therapy should be as accessible and comfortable as possible. That means that sessions can be where you are most comfortable. Whether it’s on your couch with your pets or in the kitchen while you take a lunch break, I welcome you to come as you are, where you are, and in whatever way makes you feel most comfortable. Snacks, drinks, pets, and support/coping/comfort tools are always welcome in sessions.
